Many people don't know what it is to be in a clan. What it is to be in contact with people from all over the world in this kind of way. If you join a clan, you do more then just putting some letters in front of your name and play with some people. You join a group, a movement, a family. It is also important that you fit in this family. That your ideals and ideas compare to those of your fellow clan mates. So the question is, do you know what it is to be in a clan? Or more important. Do you know what it means to be an Ide and do you have what it takes to become one?
To help you answer that question I can say you the following. Ides of March, like most other big clans, brings forth a message. Some ideal where the clan is built upon. Ours is stated: "While others fall, we shall rise up and show people, beware the Ides of March!" This means a variety of things.
"While others fall"
When other clans are dying and become inactive, Ides of March does the opposite. We stick together as a clan and hang around with each other in clan chat and teamspeak. We keep playing games, sometimes others then Total War. We stay in the chat for long hours telling each other awesome stories or just babbling total BS for shits and giggles. Does this sound as fun to you? Would you like to just pass by and have a laugh?
"We shall rise up and show people"
This means that we won't slack of if it comes to Total War. We don't walk away from battle. Very often do people come knocking at our door asking for team games or they are complaining that Ides of March is flooding the Matchmade and Quick battle scene. A part of being in a clan is playing with your fellow clan mates. Those team games are often the most fun and are a lot of times the ones that are the most challenging. Do you want to battle your fellow clan mates and see who is the strongest? Or find out which of your fellow clan member is your best 2v2 partner?
"Beware the Ides of March"
Like i said, a lot of clans have this and ideal or a general idea and there is a story behind it. When we were founded and entered tournaments we were often seen as the underdog. We fought to prove them wrong and we did! Even now when our goal of becoming a well known clan has been reached, we still fight. Because our name has to be held high and our honor has to be defended. For one day we will become legend. Ides of March is no elite clan. But are you ready to train, to learn? Are you ready to prepare yourself to defend the name of our clan?
